Located in Northern British Columbia, Canada, the Damdochax River is home to one of the last, truly unspoiled fisheries in the world.  For over four decades we have provided remarkable angling for 100% wild and healthy runs of Steelhead, Coho, Chinook, Rainbow, Cutbow, Bull Trout and Dolly Varden.  The Damdochax provides unrivaled, classic fly-fishing for Steelhead and other species.

Damdochax River Lodge offers angling on all 12 miles of this pristine wilderness river, from its source at Damdochax Lake to its confluence with the mighty Nass – BC’s third largest river.  The Damdochax is known to biologists as the most important Steelhead tributary of the entire upper Nass system, is designated a Classified Water by Provincial authorities, and is recognized internationally by fly anglers as a world-class destination for Steelhead.

Access is by air only.  We accommodate a maximum of 4 anglers per week, for whom this river essentially becomes their own private water.  It is arguably the most remote, pristine, wild, and private Steelhead angling experience available in BC.  A watershed never logged, a wilderness untouched.  Fly fishing the way it used to be…
